Engagement Team

The Engagement Team offers extended support to pupils, parents and carers alongside working with partnership agencies. Their role is to provide support to pupils and families to improve the outcomes of our pupils. They are available to meet in school or in the family home and will work to provide a range of support including;

  • Support at meetings including providing transport when needed
  • Help with paper work and form filling
  • Sign posting to appropriate agencies
  • Providing basic food bank vouchers and delivering food parcels

The Engagement Team will work with families to ensure all pupils achieve excellent attendance in line with our school attendance policy. They have an important role in supporting families to increase engagement and improve outcomes.

For Year 11 pupils applying for college, apprenticeships or employment, The Engagement Team play an important role in careers, education and guidance. When an appropriate provision has been identified they will support the pupil with completing the application, advice on interview techniques and attendance at the interview.

SaFE Worker

The Family Engagement worker is Lisa Lewry. The role is to provide support to pupils and families to improve the outcomes of our pupils. They are available to meet in school or in the family home and will work to provide a range of support including;
